Broken Hearted

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. A righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all; Psalm 34:18, 19

Bring me to the detailed study of Psalm 34:18  and  Psalm 34:19.

Are you broken hearted? Has your heart been torn apart by the events in your life?  Has your heart been broken by the people you love?  Does your mind feel the pain so much that you have trouble thinking of anything else?  Do you feel you do not matter to anyone and that there is no more hope?  Do you feel crushed inside under the weight of your troubles?  ** There is ever-present help in your troubles, a secure hope for the Lord God knows you and loves you and is right next to you, very close!

The Lord God Almighty knows you, for He made you. The Lord loves you with an Everlasting Love. The God Almighty will never despise or turn away those who are of a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart. For this is what the high and lofty One says-- He who lives forever, whose Name is holy: "I live in a high and holy place, but also with him who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite."

The Lord heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. The righteous cry out for help, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.

The Lord 'Elohim is very near and close to you whose heart is broken. He knows just how you feel and what you have been through and are going through. He feels your pain, He knows your sorrow, and He wants you to cry out to Him for help. The One True God will save everyone who has been crushed by life. He will rescue, defend and deliver you from all of your troubles if you cry out to Him, and trust and accept His will for your life.

Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and the LORD hears my voice. I cry out to God Most High, to God, who fulfills His purpose for me. For He will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help. My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. O LORD, the God who saves me, day and night I cry out before you. Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD!!!

It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man or princes. O LORD my God, I take refuge in you; save and deliver me from all my troubles!! My eyes are fixed on you, O Sovereign LORD; in you I take refuge--do not give me over to death. I cry to you, O LORD; I say, "You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living."

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. Humble yourselves under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. The Lord tells you, 'You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles' wings and brought you to myself.' ~So those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. ~Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. Isa 46:4    Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you!  Ps 55:22

The LORD redeems his servants; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him. ~Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. ~The LORD helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him. ~Let the righteous rejoice in the LORD and take refuge in him; let all the upright in heart praise him! ~In the LORD I take refuge. How then can you say to me: "Flee like a bird to your mountain. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. ~God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. ~As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.

Dear Lord God Almighty, Set me free from my prison, that I may praise your name. Then the righteous will gather about me because of your goodness to me. ~In my anguish I cried to the LORD, and he answered by setting me free. I run in the path of your commands, for you have set my heart free!!

The Lord God humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD. -Every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in him. ~The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.
