God is not limited by time or space.

What is Man?         The Heart of Man

The Remedy        The Solution

Only Jesus is fully God and fully Man.

Jesus is the only person who is also fully God. Jesus, the Word of God, became flesh and dwelt among us.  God's Word on it:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made (Genesis 1); without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.        ...  He (referring to Jesus the Christ) was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him. He came to that which was His own, but His own did not receive him. Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God-- children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. (Only God Himself can give the right of people to become children of God.)

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. (Jesus is the Word of God, fully God and fully man. God put on flesh so that we could see Him, so He could teach us with His Word and example, and so that He could be our Atonement.) We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, Who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

John testifies concerning him. He cries out, saying, "This was he of whom I said, 'He Who comes after me has surpassed me because He was before me.' " From the fullness of His grace we have all received one blessing after another. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, Who is at the Father's side, has made Him known. John 1:1-18

Now this was John's testimony ...  I baptize with water," John replied, "but among you stands One you do not know. He is the One Who comes after me, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie." (John was speaking of Jesus the Word of God.) This all happened at Bethany on the other side of the Jordan, where John was baptizing. John 19-28

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world! This is the One I meant when I said, 'A man who comes after me has surpassed me because He was before me.' I myself did not know Him, but the reason I came baptizing with water was that He might be revealed to Israel."

Then John gave this testimony: "I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on Him. I would not have known Him, except that the One Who sent me to baptize with water told me, 'The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is He who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.' I have seen and I testify that this is the Son of God." John 1:29-34

God is not limited by time or space.

God is not limited by time or space. Instead, God created (Genesis 1) time and space. God calls Himself the Alpha and the Omega. The Alpha is the very beginning of all things and the Omega is the very end. There was nothing before God, and there can be nothing without God.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Revelation 22:13

He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. Rev 21:6

"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "Who is, and Who was, and Who is to come, the Almighty." Rev 1:8

Tell me more, Who is God?

What is Man? A puff of smoke, a wisp,…

"What is man that you make so much of him, that you give him so much attention, that you examine him every morning and test him every moment?
Will you never look away from me, or let me alone even for an instant? … For I will soon lie down in the dust; you will search for me, but I will be no more." Job 7:17-21     Can a man see everyone and every thing all the time, never looking away, and never letting one alone even for an instant? -No. Man is not God.

O LORD, what is man that you care for him, the son of man that you think of him? Man is like a breath; his days are like a fleeting shadow. Psalm 144:3-4

God is not fleeting, but upon which all is sustained. Man is like a breath, with no power or control. God alone is sovereign and in control of all things.  In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me? Ps 56:4        Only God Creates.

"What is man, that he could be pure, or one born of woman, that he could be righteous? If God places no trust in his holy ones, if even the heavens are not pure in his eyes, how much less man, who is vile and corrupt, who drinks up evil like water! Job 15:14-16 Can a man be righteous and perfect on his own? (see God is Holy)   No - only God is perfect. And only God can clothe us in His Righteousness

They plot injustice and say, "We have devised a perfect plan!" Surely the mind and heart of man are cunning. Ps 64:6

The Heart of Man

"The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? Jer 17:9 NKJV

The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. Gen 6:5

But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." 1 Sam 16:7

'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: " 'In the pride of your heart you say, "I am a god; I sit on the throne of a god in the heart of the seas." But you are a man and not a god, though you think you are as wise as a god. Ezek 28:2

then hear from heaven, your dwelling place. Forgive and act; deal with each man according to all he does, since You know his heart (for You alone know the hearts of all men), 1Kings 8:39

"I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve." Jer 17:10

The Lord shows Job's ignorance, "Who has put wisdom in the mind? Or who has given understanding to the heart? " Job 38:36

Oh, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, But establish the just; For the righteous God tests the hearts and minds. Psalm 7:9

But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Matt 5:28

Would not God search this out? For He knows the secrets of the heart. Ps 44:21

Hell and Destruction are before the LORD; So how much more the hearts of the sons of men. Prov 15:11

This is what the LORD says: "Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the LORD. Jer 17:5

Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, But the LORD weighs the hearts. Prov 21:2

If you say, "Surely we did not know this," Does not He who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, does He not know it? And will He not render to each man according to his deeds? Prov 24:12

This is an evil in all that is done under the sun: that one thing happens to all. Truly the hearts of the sons of men are full of evil; madness is in their hearts while they live, and after that they go to the dead. (If they do not repent to the Lord God and surrender to His Authority.) Ecc 9:3;

A man's own folly ruins his life, yet his heart rages against the LORD . Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails. Prov 19:3, 21

Likewise the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.        James 3:5,6

The Remedy

For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones. Isa 57:15

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. Ezek 36:26

May He turn our hearts to Him, to walk in all His ways and to keep the commands, decrees and regulations He gave our fathers. 1 Kings 8:58

I run in the path of your commands, for you have set my heart free. Ps 119:32

Blessed is the man who always fears the LORD , but he who hardens his heart falls into trouble. Ps 28:14

The Solution

Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the LORD your God disciplines you. Deut 8:5

Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children forever! These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Remember how the LORD your God led you all the way in the desert these forty years, to humble you and to test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands. So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today-to love the LORD your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul- The LORD your God commands you this day to follow these decrees and laws; carefully observe them with all your heart and with all your soul. and when you and your children return to the LORD your God and obey him with all your heart and with all your soul according to everything I command you today, Deut 5:29; 6:6; 8:2; 11:13; 26:16; 30:2;

But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the LORD gave you: to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to obey his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and all your soul." Josh 22:5

But your hearts must be fully committed to the LORD our God, to live by his decrees and obey his commands, as at this time."
1Kings 8:61

I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. Ps 119:10

The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. 1Tim 1:5

Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from a pure heart. 1Pet 1:22
