What is Salvation

The Way to Eternal Life and Heaven

Eternal life here on earth is living in fellowship with the All-Loving, All-knowing, All-mighty God.   Heaven is where God and His throne exist and where eternal life continues.  One can only receive eternal life and live in Heaven through Jesus Christ.

Therefore Jesus said again, " I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep...I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved...   John 10:7,9

Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again....unless he is  born of water and the Spirit.  Flesh gives birth to the flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. John 3:3,5-6

Jesus Christ also says, "I promise you this. If you don’t change and become like a child, you will never get into the kingdom of heaven. But if you are as humble as this child, you are the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew18:3,4 CEV

Yes, Jesus, I want to PRAY and receive your free gift of Eternal Life!

The Sad News Is:

The Lord Jesus Christ says, "Go in through the narrow gate. The gate to destruction is wide, and the road that leads there is easy to follow. A lot of people go through that gate. But the gate to life is very narrow. The road the leads there is so hard to follow that only a few people find it." Matthew 7:13,14

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him. John 3:36

See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction... Now choose life...

The Good News Is:

Christ died for us at a time when we were helpless and sinful. No one is really willing to die for an honest person, though someone might be willing to die for a truly good person. But God showed how much he loved us by having Christ die for us, even though we were sinful. Romans 5:6-8

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  John 3:16

But God treats us much better than we deserve, and because of Christ Jesus, he freely accepts us and sets us free from our sins. God sent Christ to be our sacrifice. Christ offered his life’s blood, so that by faith in him we could come to God. And God did this to show that in the past he was right to be patient and forgive sinners. This also shows that God is right when he accepts people who have faith in Jesus.  Romans 3:24-26

If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."  Romans 10:8-11

For "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13

But there is more! Now that God has accepted us because Christ sacrificed his life’s blood, we will also be kept safe from God’s anger, or wrath. Even when we were God’s enemies, he made peace with us, because His Son died for us. Yet something even greater than friendship is ours. Now that we are at peace with God, we will be saved by his Son’s life. And in addition to everything else, we are happy because God sent our Lord Jesus Christ to make peace with us.

If we confess our sins to God, he can always be trusted to forgive us and take our sins away. 1John 1:9

God blesses people whose sins are forgiven and whose evil deeds are forgotten. The Lord blesses people whose sins are erased from his book. Romans 4:7,8

As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:12

Jesus said, "In the same way there is more happiness in heaven because of one sinner who turns to God than over ninety-nine good people who don’t need to….In the same way God’s angel’s are happy when even one person turns to him." Luke 15:7,10

Suggested Prayer to Receive Eternal Life!

"Lord Jesus Christ, you love me. And I know that I have done wrong.  I am a sinner. I believe that You died for my sins to make a way for me to go to heaven. Please forgive me of my sins. I am sorry for what I have done.  Lord Jesus, come into my life and take control of my life.  I trust You, Jesus.  Thank you for loving me and thank you for forgiving me!! Please give me Your Holy Spirit to live in me and teach me. Please open my mind and heart to Your words in your Bible.  I love you.  Amen."

What is Next?

If you have sincerely repented (forsaken, turned away) from your sins. If you have placed your trust in Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death. Then you have received His gift of Eternal Life. You are now a child of God! Forever!

Welcome to the Family of God!!!

But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name. John 1:12

  1. Read the Bible. Just as a newborn baby grows physically, in the same way you must grow spiritually. "As newborn babes desire the sincere milk of the Word (of God), that you may grow." 1Peter 2:2
  2. Pray. Spend time each day talking with God. "Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6
  3. Worship. Regularly attend a church that honors Jesus Christ, and the Holy Trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Be sure it teaches you the Bible. "I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord." Psalm 122:1 "God is Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and truth." John 4:24
  4. Fellowship. Spend time with Christians who will help you grow in faith. "That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that you also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father; and with His Son Jesus Christ." 1 John 1:3
  5. Witness. Tell others what Jesus Christ means to you! "But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you; and you shall be witnesses unto Me…." Acts 1:8
